Electromagnetic Array

LOREM IPSUM DOLOR SIT AMET, CONSECTETUER ADIPISCING ELIT. MORBI COMMODO, IPSUM SED PHARETRA GRAVIDA, ORCI MAGNA RHONCUS NEQUE.

The urban rooftop exists between the city and sky and is populated by the technological markers of air, water, fire, and earth: the extended arteries of the analog and digital infrastructure. This project proposes a new electromagnetic array that harnesses the rooftops and their electromagnetic receptors to define a new programmable infrastructure. The sites therefore become an electronic topography as the four elements become a dynamic and scripted array

(A. Air: Sky Social Network, B. Fire: Projective Data capes C. Water: Reservoir/Ambient Modulator, D. Earth: Luminescent Battery).

The rooftop array acts as an urban sequencer as transformations of the four elements react as an electronic circuit changing from object to waveform and back again. The cycles of transformation of the elements (A1-D1) provides a key to the new rooftop array and the possible indices sequencing. Each rooftop provides a prototypical electromagnetic surface map of the annexations of the four elements from the fire wall to the water tower and their respective altered transmissions .The electromagnetic array can be rapid prototyped to engage a expanding set of delinquent rooftops and their productive repurposing.
